March Holiday Camp (Age 11-16)
Have some fun learning learning the basics of Unity platform. Unity is one of the most widely used platform for game development. Some of the most famous games developed on Unity includes Assassin’s Creed and Temple Run.
Day 1:
In this session, students will be introduced to Unity to create a platformer game using one of Unity’s asset, i.e. Unity Playground. Students would be introduced to the following:

Introduction to Unity Playground

Introduction to Unity interface

Creating game background

Creating game platforms

Introduction to player and player movements

Introduction to health and scoreboard game system

Introduction to collectibles
Day 2:
In this session, students will deepen their knowledge in developing Unity platformer games by creating the following:.

Introducing audio to the game

Creating User Interface
-
Introducing a cliff counter

Adding dialogue to characters of the game
Day 3:
In this session, students will make the final touches to their game. This includes incorporating more graphics and animations into their game characters. Students will also be presenting their game to their classmates with the learning objective of incorporating constructive feedback on UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience). This teaches students to be user-centric so that in the future, they will be developing games that provide positive experiences for their end-users.
